Tim Simmons wonderful kukri prompted me to submit some pictures of one of mine that has some similarities.

Terry Sisco made the scabbard from the remnants of a very shabby scabbard I purchased with it. It opens along the back, like Tim's.

I have always liked the shapes of these khukris.

Excelent Bill! mmmm the straighter bladed one like yours are certanly lovely! And the scabbard is a beuty! No Doubt.

Ive seen a few of these kukris, most have lost there scabbards though.

Is it a thin blade? Those Ive seen have been, so more for cutting meat than wood, I think?

Unusual pieces. Thats a nice piece of Rosewood as well.
