This kris was sold yesterday by a German auction for a very interesting price.
length: 56/70,5 cm.

I like the field repair on the scabbard, it adds character to the nice sword!

I think the ivory pommel presented a problem for buyers outside the EU.

Here in the EU we have enough collectors and also dealers so the price was still surprising for what it went for! ;)

The blade is pretty dark, I wonder if it’s the original stain.

Good possible. The complete kris is in a very good state with only a little bit of TLC it will look beautiful!
