Hello,
First, sorry for my english.I am from Basque country in Spain.
Recently I have been in a travel to Tunez. There I found a small and interesting shop.
There was a lot of knives. The owner said to me that it was made by Touareg people.I will thank you anykind of information about those knives.
It seemed to me that it was not souvenirs. The souvenirs (knives)I saw there was diferent and not so "expensive"
I am interested In one(upper-right) abouy 10 inches and with a sheath of leather and snakeskin.Few days ago I bought one like this by internet. The seller said to me that it comes from Agadez(Niger) a tubbu knife made by touareg people. It has a good finish with a full tang forged blade and a good sheath.
I am looking for information about knives in photo.
Waiting for your answers,best regards.

I think that most if not all of them are recently made, but if you are interested in ethnographic aspects of the knives per se rather than "historical" aura, that may be a good buy.
Good luck.
