I would like to have some information about this blade. Could any of you give me some idea as to possible age, origin,Africa?? Asia??

Could it be ivory?

I would appreciate any comments or information you may have.

Brazil is my guess. Faca da ponta is what they call it.

Yes.
"Faca de ponta"...the knife from the robbers Northeastern Brazil. Know as "cangaceiros"
How old can be?
