Hello!
This panabas belongs to a wall plaque (only the arms ) I had adquired reciently. It measure 36 in of total length, with a unusual type of blade (Padsumbalin Panabas ?? ) and a unusual hilt too, with several silver bands.
i had posted too a family picture :D
I hope you enjoy pictures
best regards
carlos

Yes, possibly, when I received edged weapons from the wall plaque ,all of them were very rust and dirty. I made a first cleaning .

Nice piece Carlos. Unusual hilt. Great to have such a rare piece with silver on it. :)

WOW  A beautiful panabas Carlos. I cannot wait to see it with the silver cleaned and the wooden hilt oiled and nicely polished. You have too many of these in your collection now, you should pack one up and send it to me.:D My congratulations on your new addition.

Robert
