just got it recently, blade has no ricasso and inscription was done probably before handle was mounted, what do you think? The blade has very weak pattern (laminated) maybe next week will clean it and etch a bit to post more pictures. I have tried to take some pictures of the inscription but it is not easy... I hope they are enough good for reading....
what do you think about this little sign ? or crude cartoushe ? thanks ahead for help!

priori, it seems that this is not written in "Arabic"
the handle looks terribly Afghan, could be "Patchou" language :p

you are right the sword is for sure Afghani, I wonder if anybody can translate this language
