A Real Knightly Sword

Ouch !!
M.M.T.B. in action .

Or

Someone's idea of a practical joke .

Oh Man , did you read the questions and check the bid history ?
Very suspicious .

Rick,
M.M.T.B ??????????????

Rick 27th May 2006 06:29 PM

More Money Than Brains :)

This one's got all the suspicious earmarks ; a bidder with 0 feedback jumping in and driving the price up , the 'supposed' questions ; more like fan mail .
Seller has lots of negative feedback ; caveat emptor once again .

I've just discovered a rusty nail buried in the garden...... I was going to put it on eBay..... starting the bidding at £0.99.
Changed my mind, someone suggested it could be worth thousands...... apparently Noah's Ark was allegedly put together with some of these.........still.....could let the bidders decide

What a laugh!!! This is a joke and the geezer selling it looks a right toerag. I think it is fun. Serves him right 10 foot under the ground? with some leather on it too. :D :D :D :D :D

The toerag also attends a lot of funerals.

I wonder if the winner will really pay for the item. If he does not, the seller will still need to pay eBay fees, including a percentage of the closing price. But then again, this would be a small price considering the real value of the treasure he will keep...

Oh, that is just absurd. The guy has a starting bid of 15 pounds, and turns down an offer of "8000, cash in hand?" I actually hope the guy who won is a sham bidder as well, or he is in for a very nasty wake-up at some point (but I note that the buyer's last feed-back indicates he hadn't paid for his last purchase - perhaps there is some justice out there).

I'm treading the line of posting rules, but this is one of those exceptional cases that just boggle the mind.
