Well it is a little small. The figure is about 15.5 cm (six inches) high. But I think, from the shape of the end of the blade, it is my first Jimpul. :D ;)

Can't tell if the blade is flat or whatever. The Shield is not for sale. Don't even ask. Not mine anyway. :(

Opinions???? ;)

Wonder if I will get more views than responses?????

Bill I saw that one last week and thought of you lol :D . I would guess 1930-40 as far as age goes. It looks like an art deco period bronze.

Just happened upon it with one minute and 40 seconds to go! Still got into a bid and counterbid with someone.

Will ask Arjan if he knows how old, but suspect that Lew is right. Deco period 1930's or so.

here another with a suberb inlayed blade,
the blade has very nice scrollwork (and a repair) the scabbard has also the same knots as a "real" one.

(aviable at www.thehornbill.com)

Very nice Arjan, does it have a flat or convex blade? How are the crowits?

That sure is a nice Batak sword you have there. I see it is sold. Must be some lucky new owner!

Warmest grins, I mean Regards!

Bill :D ;) ;)
