Pictures of weaponry, taken on my last "Tropenmuseum Amsterdam" visit.
I thought it would be nice for you to show a part of the Tropenmuseum, for those who are not able to visit the museum.
I will only post images of the weapons/weaponrelated items, and not the tribal art images I made on my last visit. I guess that would be something for another forum... Maurice |

thank you for sharing the photos... it looks like they're floating in the air!

I guess the floating effect had been increased on the images because of my breathtaking photography!!!! :D  |
Thank you very much for sharing. For many of us, it is nice to see images from museums we may never have a chance to visit. Many beautiful objects have been presented. What is the story with the first keris pictured, with the war scene on the blade?

perhaps we should go to keris room to discuss further ;) |

Thank you Maurice
I too would like to thank you Maurice, the images you have provided add a great depth to styles and design elements not often seen.

Yes thanks for the pics - nice pieces. Although I would argue about the keris - looks more like bronze rather than copper.

Glad you all like it!
Maybe I should post some more images?
