Are these clips found only on Sulawesi Badik's or common also on Sumatra / Malay Badik's. This one has a snake styled one.

I presume there are parts with ivory, or perhaps bone. Would you know what wood is the hilt.

And the pamor on the blade with some form of puser? Any idea?

I have seen these attachment clips only by Sulawesi badik but this doesn't mean that they can't be found by badiks from other regions. See pic.

The white material looks like bone to my eyes, I would need to see the badik in hand to be sure about the material.

The pamor at the base of the blade is either "batu lapak" or "kul buntet", again, I would need to handle it and maybe we would only be sure when we would loosen the handle. See here: http://www.vikingsword.com/vb/showth...ght=batu+lapak

Very nice pamor, that would benefit a lot from some cleaning and etching.

Recently i saw several pisau raut, kujang and badik from West Java which the sheaths have clips

my humble opinion is that the white parts are bone, you can see the pores in the material and you won't see that in Ivory.
