Spear Head
 

I've had this for a while though, for the life of my I cannot recall where I got it.

The head is robust and clearly made to be used. There are no marks on it except for some minor hammer marks on the neck, below the blade.

Any thoughts?

Yes, you can. Until a while back, you needed to resize the images (to maximum 1200X1200) before posting them. Nowadays you may post whatever large size you have and the system reduces them automatically.

How do you resize? This is an attachment.

EDIT: Oh right never mind I should not go to Christmas dinner and post.

Great early halberd indeed. Have you identified the maker's mark ? I don't find this exact configuration in my miserable library.
The closest (?) i have from your perfect example is this Sempach type one.

Hi Ed, this general form of spear head is really common and found widely in SE Asia and elsewhere. It's been around for a long time and you may not find a specific origin for it.
