Just A last Word

Always remember that we are a forum that anyone can read without joining .

The 'Web' can be a very dicey place to play especially when you don't know who's watching .

I agree that there are "strange" people out there, but I doubt that anyone would be interested in searching---e.g the whole of the USA for a collector of anything.
However your point is taken. Maybe the location info could be included in the members personal profile which only members of this Forum have access to.

GLASTONBURY

Previously King Arthur's Country

Now the home of Rain, Mud and Music. ( Muddy Waters ? )

Often travel for work all over the world. 11 years in S.E asia between 1980 and 1991 really developed my interest in weapons from the area.

I agree, we have to be security concious, but I am lacking in people to talk to and " show-off " my collection. With the right communication and planning, visitors would be welcome.

Required Location

As I have said , that's each Member's prerogative to disclose but never a requisite here .
It's about privacy .

Forum rules and policies are what they are; end of that discussion . :)

Feel free to continue networking; I think it's a good thing myself . :)

Believe me, there have been some very creepy situations with members stalking and/or harrassing other members in real life over beefs developed here on the forum. As far as I know, no one has had their collection targetted as a result of info released here, but you never know.

Well, they call me also often "een belg".
I live near Maastricht and I was 2 weeks ago at the "Luikse Antique Markt" in Belgium.:)
It was just a 20 minutes drive.

Hi Mark,
This situation did not occur to me! I assumed, I guess that all those who are members here were "Honorable" people!

There's a big old nasty litigious world out there Stu . :(
Sometimes disagreements can bloom into plain ugliness and worse .

I've seen my share in the last decade .
