Just wanna share about Hilt's name in my village or region

The second Hilt is called "LUDAY" which means a DEMON EEL , the king of water/ river, an eel without ears

Rumour has (myth) some people often see it when they go fishing

People in Some villages at LAMPUNG-SUMATERA says "LUDAY = DRAGON"

I still don't know why it's called GARUDA ??? In my opinion there is no resemblance at all with Garuda/ Bird

Thank for the info Wisnu....though both arms and feet are very clearly depicted in hilt # 2 and possibly even ears, though that feature is perhaps less positive, so this seems somewhat questionable to me. :shrug:

Thanks for the information, could you confirm that this type of hilt is commonly found in the Palembang and Lampung areas? This would reinforce the opinion that these hilts originate from South Sumatra and not North Java.
