Thank's Kai Wee. By time I will find a proper pendokok and I think that the keris is now worth to get one. :)

With the help of a friend I have got a pendokok but I am unsure if it is the correct style. It is not in lotus style. What do you think?

The pendokok is a Palembang / Lampung styled piece. The base area of the hilt (buah pinang), doesn't sit nicely and makes the hilt proportion less harmonious, imho. Alternatively, a simple flat bugis styled brass pendokok would suit, I guess.. ;)

Thank's Alam, you are correct. :) Problem is the small diameter of the hilt base.

I have looked long for a proper pendokok without success. But some time ago I get this small and old hippo ivory jawa deman from an other member and in my opinion it harmonizes very good with the keris.
What do you think?

Regards,

Detlef
