Many thanks for your suggestion. I already ordered a suitable planar hilt/mendak from Java. I must admit that I so far only have very little knowledge of keris hilts and hilt styles. I started keris collecting last December and concentrated my interest on the blades first ...

Sorry Michel, too late. I've already made a damascus blade for that handle. I still need to heat treat it and mount it, but finished it will be a kard-like knife, that I may use as a steak knife.

If you might get your hands on some that would fit the "penganta" and its status..pls let me know. Btw, looking for a sheath too.
